Semi-Permanent Varnish Application Protocol - Easy Steps for a Long-Lasting and Vibrant Manicure

  1. Hand washing:
    • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap to remove any oil or dirt residue, then disinfect them.
  1. Nail preparation:
    • Remove any existing varnish using nail polish remover.
    • Cut and file your nails to the desired shape.
    • Gently push back the cuticles using a boxwood stick.

Tips: Small dead skins on the surface of the nail must be removed, the semi-permanent varnish cannot adhere properly to an oily surface like the skin.

  1. Image:
    • Gently file the surface of your nails using a file without pressing too hard to mattify the nail and create a more adherent surface without damaging the nail.
  2. Dusting:
    • Use a dusting brush and a cotton pad soaked in cleaner to remove dust from the nails.
  3. Application of Nail prep and Primer without acid:
    • Apply a thin layer of Nail prep and let air dry.
    • Apply a thin coat of Acid Free Primer and allow to air dry.
  1. Application of the semi-permanent varnish base:
    • Apply a thin coat of Lollibond Base to each nail, avoiding the cuticles.
    • Catalyze for 30 seconds under the UV/LED lamp.

Tips: There is a sticky layer of semi-permanent varnish left, do not remove it, it will allow the other layers of semi-permanent varnish to adhere well

  1. Application of semi-permanent varnish:
    • Apply a thin coat of Lollilac semi-permanent varnish in the color of your choice to each nail.
    • Avoid touching skin or cuticles.
    • Catalyze 30 seconds under UV/LED lamp, 60 seconds for dark colors.
  2. Second coat of varnish:
    • Apply a second coat of semi-permanent varnish for a more intense color and better coverage.
    • Catalyze 30 seconds under UV/LED lamp, 60 seconds for dark colors.
  3. Application of the finishing Top Coat:
    • Apply a coat of Top Coat Finish to give a brilliant shine and protect your color.
    • Catalyze for 60 seconds under the UV/LED lamp
  4. Final cleaning:
    • Our Top Coat does not have a sticky layer. But if you use another finish for example Top Coat Satin, remove the sticky layer using a cellulose pad soaked in cleaner to reveal a perfect manicure.
  5. Hydration:
    • Finish by applying a cuticle oil to nourish your nails and cuticles.

Additional tips:

  • Do not open your varnishes, base and top coat in sunlight or in front of a switched on UV/LED lamp, this may cause them to harden in their bottle.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals on your nails to prolong the wear of your polish.
