COSTS (VAT / SEA DUTY)
We understand that you may have questions regarding shipping costs to the DOM-TOM (Overseas Departments and Territories) and we are here to provide you with all the necessary information.
Shipping to the French Overseas Territories involves additional fees due to the geographical distance and logistics costs associated with these remote areas. These fees are generally calculated based on several factors, including the weight of your order, the dimensions of the packages, the chosen delivery method, and any import taxes and duties.
When you place your order on our website, you will have the opportunity to view specific shipping costs before finalizing your order. This will allow you to make an informed decision based on your budget and needs.
Additionally, please note that customs fees and local taxes may apply to your order depending on the regulations in your area. These fees are not included in the initial cost of your order and are the responsibility of the recipient.
In the departments of Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique, Mayotte and La Réunion, a tax called " octroi de mer " is applicable. Imports of goods are subject to the so-called "external" octroi de mer regardless of their origin.
The regional councils (or the general council in Mayotte) can also establish a regional external sea tax whose basis is identical to that of the external sea tax.
Value added tax (VAT) is applicable in the departments of Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion under the same conditions as in mainland France.
VAT is temporarily not applicable in the departments of Guyana and Mayotte.
